Miss Lyssa

So. Here's the deal. I have been beyond blessed with having such a beautiful sister in Christ, inside & out! Through the past few weeks, my little has gotten me through so much.
Yesterday, she reminded me something so simple that I think we all tend to forget a lot.
God is on our side.
I had gotten so wrapped up in all the craziness hitting me from every direction and had forgotten that. I had forgotten the huge part of who I was.
I am a child of God.
The enemy has no business whispering lies into our minds- we have to remind him that! Let him know he is not welcome, and our God is stronger. The Bible tells us that we are to fight the good fight of our faith.
"Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses."
-1 Timothy 6:12
Lyssa reminded me why it was a "good" fight.. because we are on the WINNING side!
How much better does it get than that?!
Although saved, we remain imperfect people who continue to be tempted by our sinful nature. Therefore we must cling to His word always, gear up in His armour, and remember who He is!
Thankful my Little was obedient & let Him use her to strengthen me.
She will never know how much God has already used her in my life alone. Truly thankful for her.
