A word that has consumed my mind for the past week more than anything ever has.
God has blessed me with such an amazing group of girls here at school, and even more when He brought YADA into our lives.
Every Tuesday night we have what we call YADA study.
Once again, SO thankful with such amazing sisters in Christ!!! Thank-you Jesus:)
Yada is a Hebrew word that means "to know."
Oh but such a deeper know than you would ever think....
It is to know in a deeper more intamate way.
We YADA ladies have set three goals to back up our name:
1. to dedicate ourselves to Christ so we can engage Him with our love and affection
2. understanding the needs of those around us & taking care of them
3. faithfully living out our relationship with the Lord in EVERY area of our lives
We desire to know just as the Proverbs 31 girl:
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; She can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue." (25-26)
I am searching daily for a heart like His and I never knew such a simple sounding word could be so essential to understand in order to find it.
Yada: to know-
to know Him means..
to perceive
to learn
to understand
to believe
to recognize
to accept
to conform
to be willing
to live
to obey
to experience
Jesus light a flame of desire on my heart for YOU that never goes out!
I want to fall in love with you, everyday, all over again.
